 Monday May 31, 2021 We had a great week this week! We were super busy and had a lot of things going on. We found 1 new person this week. He was a former investigator and we are going to try and see what we can do. But today we did a service for a non member family so that was great! They are super cool and they want us back to talk about religion and have dinner with us. So we are super excited to talk with them. It's a whole family of 4 so that will be great when we can really start teaching them. Now to the subject of my email. We stopped by an older lady this week just to say hi and see how she was doing. Then she asked us if we wanted a Sprite and we were like sure we'll take a Sprite. Then she comes out and gives us a sprite and then we talk a little more. Then she asks us if if we want snacks or food or anything, and we say no we're good. Then she goes back to her kitchen and brings out a whole bag of tortilla chips and some chocolate wafer things.  Monday May 24, 2021 Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've sent one of these. Or at least it feels like it has. We had transfers this past week, and I got transferred to a different area more north! I'm in the Salt River Stake and I cover 3 wards now. There's a lot of things that we need to keep up with so it's a bit crazy. One of our wards is literally the mountains lol. The houses are huge and the roads are curvy and stuff, it's a pretty neat area. The people are all really nice to us to so that's good. We now have a lot of people we are teaching or at least trying to.  My new companions name is Elder Louie. He is a great Elder, he works hard and is constantly focused on the work and doing the best he can.  Last week we had a General Authority 70 come to our mission. It was Elder McKay and he was awesome! He spoke with so much power and passion and the spirit was so strong as he spoke to our mission. It was really cool because he didn't take notes...

Monday May 18, 2021 Jackson is being transferred tomorrow, so he has been super busy getting ready for this transfer. He's headed to a new area, but his good friend, Elder Ford and he will be living together. Elder Ford will be his new Zone leader and Elder McMullan will be serving as the District leader. He'll be in a car, so he's a little concerned about gaining weight. 🤣 (They get fed really well 6 days a week) He doesn't know his new companion, except that he's newish. This will be his 3rd transfer. (Just finished training) This pic was from this week, (I think it's his zone?) when the mission had a General Authority, Elder McKay, come speak to them. Jackson was super impressed. Called him a "Rockstar." He was super impressed with his knowledge of the scriptures and even bought a new "fresh set of scriptures himself, to study and make make new marks in." Jackson has been a missionary for 10 MONTHS!! 🤯

 Monday May 10, 2021 Jackson didn't email today since he called yesterday for Mother's day. Everyone was able to talk and it's always amazing to actually SEE him!! (1st pic) Some things we learned..... - Transfers are in a couple weeks and he already knows he'll be moving. Elder B's training is complete and he's excited for a change. (I think?) - He's been doing a lot of service (See moving pic) along with lots of teaching. - Daniel (investigator) has made/found time to be taught and is eager to learn more. - Arthur who went back to Houston, also loves what he is being taught and wants to keep being taught. (Via zoom) - He is completely content serving where he's at. He said he LOVES the Mesa Mission and has formed some incredibly strong bonds with so many. Overall, Elder McMullan is the same ole Jackson, but with a maturity that we only got glimpses of here and there before. 🤣 He's changed for the better no doubt about it. He's come to know and...

 Monday May 3, 2021 Hey Everyone! How was everyone's week! Anything fun going on back home or in school? I had a good week this week. Nothing too crazy happening. We are still trying to meet with Daniel Rodriguez and Cory Bell. They seem to be fine. Arthur, we got in contact with so that's good. We have a lesson with him this week over zoom! We attended 2 baptisms on Saturday so that was awesome! We went to a concert baptism and then also to an 8 year olds baptism we got invited to. The members name is the Manutai's. They are pretty much the coolest family in the Mesa, Arizona mission. They baptized their daughter in their hot tub in the backyard. It was really neat. It's awesome to see because the spirit is the same no matter where the baptism is. Whether it's in the church or in someone's backyard the same sweet spirit is there.  I was listening to a talk this week and the guy said that Satan can mimic every feeling that the Lord can make us feel.
