Transfers Again

Image
June 28, 2021 This week is transfers already! This past month and a half has gone by so fast it's nuts. Me and Elder Louie are staying together this next transfer so that's good. Our area is going well. We had a great meeting yesterday with our friend Tom and he opened up about his life and his view on religion and he is seeking forgiveness of his sins. He is so humble and ready to change and be better and to learn. He doesn't know much about our church and our beliefs, but is willing to learn about Christ and his Atonement. Nothing much else happened this week. I'm sure there was I just can't ever remember anything. We work our butts off and visit a lot of people so I don't even know what happened. What I can tell you is that missionary work was done and that good stuff is happening.  Now let's get to the part that actual matters, the spiritual stuff. How awesome is it that we are living in these latter days!? Like it's honestly a privilege. Yes things...

The Week

Monday June 21, 2021 Hello everyone! Sorry I missed last week, but things are pretty nuts. I'm super ultra mega busy so this email won't be very long. Basically we have a lot if people in our area that live like members, but just won't take that next step to baptism. So that's fun. We have one lady that's pretty close, so we're trying to get her going. We taught the Restoration to one of our friends and it went well. Hopefully they follow our invitation and receive a witness for themselves.  I'm so grateful for this mission and the time I have to serve. There's nothing that should be more important to us than to gain a closer relationship with Jesus Christ, because in the end he helps many decisions become more clear.  Have a good week!  Monday June 14, 2021 Elder McMullan didn't send an email this week, but I (Mom) chatted with him back and forth via messenger.  He only sent one picture captured "We washed some dogs." Apparently, they are getting creative with their service!  Also, he may get to Argentina after all......

Zone Conference!

Monday June 7, 2021 Hello everyone! How have y'all been? This week has been pretty crazy for us. We had a lot of service. Pretty much everyone was asking us for service so hey, that's cool. We had Zone Conference this week and it was all focused on the Book of Mormon. That was also really cool.  We have a lot of interested people, but we are struggling to get in consistent contact with them. Some seem very very promising, but we just can't make any great progress.  Nothing else to report on. So I will just share something from my personal study. This is in Jacob chapter 5 with the big vineyard chapter. There's a couple verses that I loved from it.  Verse 41 41 And it came to pass that the Lord of the vineyard wept, and said unto the servant: What could I have done more for my vineyard? I think it's cool where it says the Lord of the vineyard wept, and then asked what could I have done more? Then there's another verse that sums this up well. Verse 47 47 But what...
