Monday March 29, 2021 This week was really good! Nothing much to report on. We didn't get to meet with Cory or Daniel this week. Daniel was exposed to Covid and Cory just hasn't responded to anything. I believe he is just really busy.  We met a really cool dude this week though!! His name is Arthur. We were about to cross the street and he pointed at us to meet him at the Gas station. We talked to him and he's a super cool dude. He travels for work everywhere and talks to all the missionaries he sees. He wanted to meet with us that exact night so we did at the church. He came at like 7:30 and he bought us like 100 dollars worth of pizza and wings from Barros. We went out and bought a basketball and we came back to the church and we balled up with him. During this whole time he is asking us questions about our church and our basic beliefs. He is super cool and is interested in our Church. We are going to start giving him the lessons over zoom so that was pretty cool!! Other...

Found Another One!

Monday March 22, 2021 Hey everybody how are you doing? This week went really well! I'll get down straight to it.  We found another new person. He is in a part member family. His wife is a member but he is not. He told us that he has been investigating the church for a while, but feels that he needs to be 100% in before he makes a decision. We will start making constant contact with him and try to help him make the big decision of baptism. His name is Cory bell so please pray for him!! The other guy we are working with is another part member family. He was the one we found last week. We finally taught him the restoration lesson and it went well! He accepted it and asked many questions that he had concerns of. He seems really smart and into the Bible. He likes to break down the bible and find truth. Hopefully he can find truth in the book of Mormon and read it with real intent instead of trying to find fault in it. I feel like he could turn out very well. Please pray for him to...

Trying to be Like He is!

Monday March 15, 2021   How have you all been? I had a good week this week! We are still visiting a bunch of member and part members. We actually found a new this week! We visited a part member family and the husband is not a member and he is actually interested! So we had a great visit there and are excited to begin teaching him the discussions. It rained again in AZ which I'm sure you all know haha. Good stuff. Elder Banuelos is still doing great. Doing plenty of role plays and trying to master his skills. We are getting along with both wards great and have just a bunch of homies now.  Then we also had Zone conference! It was pretty amazing. We talked a lot about following the promptings of the spirit and about talking to everyone. A lot of people shared cool stories about talking with people in the street and stuff and cool things happening.  Alright for all you return missionaries I'd like to hear some of your stories about street contacting and having something cool ...

Trying To Be As He Is!

Monday March 8, 2021 This week has been really good! Nothing is really new, but we are working hard! I got 2 flat tires this week so that was pretty dope.  Nothing amazing or crazy. We are just still trying to focus on less active and part member families to find new people. Elder Banuelos is doing good. He has 2 weeks under his belt now so that's good. We had dinner with a less active lady and she said that she wants to fix her life and get the lessons for herself and also for her kids that aren't baptized. So hopefully all turns out good there and good things can come from it. Something I've been focusing on a lot is trying to be as He is. I've been trying to develop the Christlike attributes. Especially Charity. I remember a talk in General Conference in October and the speaker said that as we develop one attribute others will come along with it. And as I've tried to develop Christlike attributes, life becomes more fun and more full.  Try to be more like Jesus t...

Letter From Mission President

THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS 25 Feb 2021   Dear  Erin McMullan , I want you to know that your  son ,  Elder   Jackson McMullan , has been called to be a trainer to one of our new Missionaries,  Elder   Adrian Banuelos . The  calling of a trainer is an important leadership position in the mission and one that is  extended only to our trusted and effective missionaries.  The role of a trainer has more influence on the future success of a missionary than any other single  factor.  For this reason, your  son   has been selected to play a key part in laying a foundation for this new missionary.  We love  your  son   and are grateful for  His   example and his willingness to serve.   Thank you for sharing your  son   with us and for your continued support and encouragement. Sincerely, Chase B.  Andrews Arizona Mesa

First Week with the Trainee!!

Monday March 1, 2021 This first week with the new young lad has been great! He's a stud and ready to work! He has a great attitude and is fitting into the missionary life very well. His name is Elder Adrian BaƱuelos. He is always trying to do the right thing so I'm stoked to be with him.  This week has been good. We are still doing tons of member work and trying to get to know the members and get referrals. We are also trying to focus on part member families a lot now because those seem to be the gold mine. We received a couple referrals this past week! We got one for a guy named Landry Williams. We have not met him but he texted us and said that he is working 2 jobs and won't have time to meet, so we weren't about to let him get off that easy. So we basically sent a text saying like well we know you're busy, but we know the Gospel will bless you and your family. Something along those lines, that was the simplified version of course haha. So he responded and said l...
