Mother's Day Update

Jackson didn't email today since he called yesterday for Mother's day. Everyone was able to talk and it's always amazing to actually SEE him!! (1st pic)

Some things we learned.....

- Transfers are in a couple weeks and he already knows he'll be moving. Elder B's training is complete and he's excited for a change. (I think?)

- He's been doing a lot of service (See moving pic) along with lots of teaching.

- Daniel (investigator) has made/found time to be taught and is eager to learn more.

- Arthur who went back to Houston, also loves what he is being taught and wants to keep being taught. (Via zoom)

- He is completely content serving where he's at. He said he LOVES the Mesa Mission and has formed some incredibly strong bonds with so many.

Overall, Elder McMullan is the same ole Jackson, but with a maturity that we only got glimpses of here and there before. 🤣 He's changed for the better no doubt about it. He's come to know and love his Heavenly Father and his Savior Jesus Christ. He's dependent on their daily guidance.. He studies constantly and has an urgency and excitement to share that love and knowledge with all around him. He's much more confident and bold as he expresses his thoughts and feelings.

I'm forgetting a lot, but just know he is loving every second of his mission so far. (Even the hard stuff!)

He LOVES hearing from all of you back home!! He hasn't forgotten any of you!! 💗💗

 Monday October 12, 2020 Hello everyone! How's it goin? Everything here in Mesa is going well. This week went by really quick and I can't remember everything that happened. I'll start off with our "amigos". I'm pretty sure I've already told you guys about Martha and how we have her on date for baptism. Basically she is still going strong and we don't need to do much with her other than just meet with her every other day to keep her on track. We just go over a few simple things every now and then. Then with Gerardo he is still iffy. He still hasn't accepted baptism, but he's getting closer. We're teaching him the commandments to let him know what exactly he needs to keep and also we're bringing members from our branch to make friends with him so that he is more comfortable. Forgive and Forget!

 Monday January 18, 2021 Hello everyone!! I hope your week is going great! My week has been fabulous. The Vargas family that randomly came to Church last week are doing great! We had 2 lessons with them this week and they are so eager to learn! They read the Book of Mormon a lot and are so prepared. They have a few Word of Wisdom problems but I don't think they will have any trouble with that. They also have told us that they are planning on getting married, but they want it to be a memorable event so they want to plan well. They are so ready to partake in this gospel and it's actually crazy. They basically are members already. They are the nicest and most sincere people you will ever meet.  Another miracle happened this week!! Another non member just walked into Church!! It's actually crazy the miracles and blessings God is giving us here. So yesterday we had dinner with a family, and the non member that walked into church was there!!
