Getting Transferred!

Jackson is being transferred tomorrow, so he has been super busy getting ready for this transfer. He's headed to a new area, but his good friend, Elder Ford and he will be living together. Elder Ford will be his new Zone leader and Elder McMullan will be serving as the District leader. He'll be in a car, so he's a little concerned about gaining weight. 🤣 (They get fed really well 6 days a week)

He doesn't know his new companion, except that he's newish. This will be his 3rd transfer. (Just finished training)

This pic was from this week, (I think it's his zone?) when the mission had a General Authority, Elder McKay, come speak to them. Jackson was super impressed. Called him a "Rockstar." He was super impressed with his knowledge of the scriptures and even bought a new "fresh set of scriptures himself, to study and make make new marks in."

Jackson has been a missionary for 10 MONTHS!! 🤯

 Monday October 12, 2020 Hello everyone! How's it goin? Everything here in Mesa is going well. This week went by really quick and I can't remember everything that happened. I'll start off with our "amigos". I'm pretty sure I've already told you guys about Martha and how we have her on date for baptism. Basically she is still going strong and we don't need to do much with her other than just meet with her every other day to keep her on track. We just go over a few simple things every now and then. Then with Gerardo he is still iffy. He still hasn't accepted baptism, but he's getting closer. We're teaching him the commandments to let him know what exactly he needs to keep and also we're bringing members from our branch to make friends with him so that he is more comfortable. Forgive and Forget!

 Monday January 18, 2021 Hello everyone!! I hope your week is going great! My week has been fabulous. The Vargas family that randomly came to Church last week are doing great! We had 2 lessons with them this week and they are so eager to learn! They read the Book of Mormon a lot and are so prepared. They have a few Word of Wisdom problems but I don't think they will have any trouble with that. They also have told us that they are planning on getting married, but they want it to be a memorable event so they want to plan well. They are so ready to partake in this gospel and it's actually crazy. They basically are members already. They are the nicest and most sincere people you will ever meet.  Another miracle happened this week!! Another non member just walked into Church!! It's actually crazy the miracles and blessings God is giving us here. So yesterday we had dinner with a family, and the non member that walked into church was there!!
