Many Miracles!

This week has been really good!! We had much success in our work. We had many people committed to church yesterday. We had many people that accepted our message and were excited to learn and come. We ended up having 4 people come to church and 1 returning member! It was awesome to see the fruits of the hard work we put in this week. We had great lessons with Barbara, which I will talk about later, and tried different ways of contacting people that are hard to get in contact with. This week was really good and I have no complaints!

This week we had the opportunity to have a lesson with Barbara. She is the one on date for baptism on July 9th. We talked to her about the word of wisdom and we spoke about coffee. They were a little on the edge about that and didn't see the reason for it. We spoke more about it and eventually they committed to stop coffee and substitute it with energy drinks. That was a good step for them! Suspecting that they were still a little hesitant, Elder Hadley and I decided to promise blessings specific to what they are going through. Barbara is struggling financially, so we promised her that as long as she followed the commandments and did all the things God asks us to do, and is active in His kingdom on earth, then they would not need to worry about temporal things such as food, money, etc. We then ended the lesson and went our separate ways. Then not even 30 minutes later we get a call from Barbara and she told us about this miracle that she just had. She went to a place to get some food and as she was paying she found out she was a few dollars short. As she was standing there thinking about what to do, someone in line came and paid for her entire meal. That person ended up being someone from our ward that is a great fellow shipper and has been for years!! No way that is a coincidence. She recognized it as a miracle and called us about it. It was cool to see that specific promises led to specific blessings!
