Getting Transferred!

This week was a good week. We are preparing for transfers and for my last transfer I will be getting transferred to a new area. It's crazy how time flies, but I have full intentions of ending strong. I am so grateful for the time I've been able to serve a mission and for the person the Lord has made me to be. This past week we had exchanges and also found many people to teach. We passed off a few people to the family wards as well and still have some to pass off. We are seeing the coolest things with the Book of Mormon. With those that we are teaching we are only reading the Book of Mormon as our lesson plan and helping them have a spiritual experience. When we started doing that they were kind of meh with the lessons, but now they are progressing much faster. As we get them to read their desire to learn increases. The spirit starts to touch their heart and enlighten their minds. The Book of Mormon has real power behind it. It really is the cheat to missionary work!

For the spiritual experience for the week it was during a lesson we had with a recent convert. For our lesson we showed the Washington DC temple tour video. The whole video was great and the spirt was present throughout. The part that hit me the most was at the very end when Elder Stevenson and Elder Renlund were testifying. The both bore powerful testimonies on the living reality of Jesus Christ. Elder Renlund especially bore a strong testimony. He said it was a joy to testify of the living Christ and that he knows that he lives. As soon as he said that the spirit touched me and I had a reconfirmation to my testimony that Jesus lives and he is real. The Apostles have a strong testimony and every time they testify you know that they know.
