He Has Risen!

 Monday April 18, 2022

This week has been a busy one for sure! Elder Quigley and I have gotten along very well. He's a hard worker and desires to do good. He's very fun to work with. We've been able to keep up with all the office work we needed to do and still help people have a spiritual expereinece at the pageant. We went to the Pageant multiple times and had many spiritual experiences. We also had dinner with some friends named Don and Mia on Sunday. Elder Bird and I found them a couple weeks ago as we were in an apartment complex. They had a whole truck to unload with no one to help, so we helped them unload and move him. After we helped them they invited us over for dinner. So yesterday we go back to have dinner and we taught the Restoration. It went very well! They are more "spiritual people" but by the end they accepted the Book of Mormon and were excited to read it. It was a success! The rest of the week was good as well. We enjoyed speaking with all the new missionaries and helping them feel welcomed.

For the spiritual experience this week was at the Easter Pageant. I loved everything about the Easter Pageant. The music was fantastic and the message was great. The spirit especially was so strong. I had the opportunity to go 4 times and the very first time I went it was a very spiritual experience for me. From the moment it started and the music played the spirit overwhelmed me. For the first 15 minutes I was in tears and knew that all the things contained within the pageant were true. Jesus is the Christ. He went about doing good all his life and was killed for it. He knew he needed to do it, and so out of love and mercy for us all, he did it willingly. I love Jesus and know that he makes a difference in my life, and has and will make a difference in the lives of many others.
