Transfers Tomorrow!

Hey everyone! Another good week under the belt! We are super busy this coming week with meetings and were busy this past week with meetings as well. Transfers are tomorrow so we're getting ready for that. Elder Bird and I are going into our 3rd transfer together so that'll be fun! We went on only 1 exchange this week and it was only a lunch and comp study. Everything is going good for me! Still love the mission and it's flying by right now. This transfer ahead will go by especially quick because transfers are on the 14th of April so that'll be crazy. A lot to look forward too!

The spiritual experience for the week was during one of my personal studies in the Book of Mormon. I was reading in Mosiah 27 about Alma the younger and the sons of Mosiah. Their story reminded me of a lot of how my life was. Not that I was a horrible sinner or anything, but I didn't do the things that I should've done. But I love the scripture on there that says
"For, said he, I have repented of my sins, and have been redeemed of the Lord; behold I am born of the Spirit."
Through Christ we can be clean and be forgiven. Just like Alma the younger we all can overcome our past selves and have a much happier and joyful life. Jesus is real, and he is risen, what a joyful message that is!

 Monday October 12, 2020 Hello everyone! How's it goin? Everything here in Mesa is going well. This week went by really quick and I can't remember everything that happened. I'll start off with our "amigos". I'm pretty sure I've already told you guys about Martha and how we have her on date for baptism. Basically she is still going strong and we don't need to do much with her other than just meet with her every other day to keep her on track. We just go over a few simple things every now and then. Then with Gerardo he is still iffy. He still hasn't accepted baptism, but he's getting closer. We're teaching him the commandments to let him know what exactly he needs to keep and also we're bringing members from our branch to make friends with him so that he is more comfortable. Forgive and Forget!

 Monday January 18, 2021 Hello everyone!! I hope your week is going great! My week has been fabulous. The Vargas family that randomly came to Church last week are doing great! We had 2 lessons with them this week and they are so eager to learn! They read the Book of Mormon a lot and are so prepared. They have a few Word of Wisdom problems but I don't think they will have any trouble with that. They also have told us that they are planning on getting married, but they want it to be a memorable event so they want to plan well. They are so ready to partake in this gospel and it's actually crazy. They basically are members already. They are the nicest and most sincere people you will ever meet.  Another miracle happened this week!! Another non member just walked into Church!! It's actually crazy the miracles and blessings God is giving us here. So yesterday we had dinner with a family, and the non member that walked into church was there!!
