The Gift of tongues is real!

This week was a good week! This past week we went on 4 exchanges. One of them though was just an afternoon exchange. I went in Spanish for 1 one of the exchanges and the gift of tongues is so real haha. I haven't spoken Spanish in so long and it was pretty rough honestly, but I could pray and then testify to the words of my companion and that's all I need haha.

 Honestly weeks just keep flying by, but I love being a missionary. I write down all my spiritual experiences everyday so that keeps the important stuff memorized.
One of the spiritual experiences of the week was yesterday we had dinner with a nice family. We shared a message on the Restoration by showing the "Ask of God" video. (if you haven't seen that video I encourage you to watch it). The spirit is strong as you watch it, as it was last night. After the video they all shared how they came to know that Joseph Smith is a Prophet. It was cool to see how the Lord answers people according to their understanding. (2 Nephi 31:3) Then at the end of the lesson we bore our testimonies and I have never felt more sure in my life that Joseph Smith is a Prophet. 

This Gospel is true and it is the only true and living Church upon the face of the Earth. Why would anyone not want to partake of the blessings? This is where the truth is! We have no need to look anywhere else.

 Monday October 12, 2020 Hello everyone! How's it goin? Everything here in Mesa is going well. This week went by really quick and I can't remember everything that happened. I'll start off with our "amigos". I'm pretty sure I've already told you guys about Martha and how we have her on date for baptism. Basically she is still going strong and we don't need to do much with her other than just meet with her every other day to keep her on track. We just go over a few simple things every now and then. Then with Gerardo he is still iffy. He still hasn't accepted baptism, but he's getting closer. We're teaching him the commandments to let him know what exactly he needs to keep and also we're bringing members from our branch to make friends with him so that he is more comfortable. Forgive and Forget!

 Monday January 18, 2021 Hello everyone!! I hope your week is going great! My week has been fabulous. The Vargas family that randomly came to Church last week are doing great! We had 2 lessons with them this week and they are so eager to learn! They read the Book of Mormon a lot and are so prepared. They have a few Word of Wisdom problems but I don't think they will have any trouble with that. They also have told us that they are planning on getting married, but they want it to be a memorable event so they want to plan well. They are so ready to partake in this gospel and it's actually crazy. They basically are members already. They are the nicest and most sincere people you will ever meet.  Another miracle happened this week!! Another non member just walked into Church!!
