Ethan's baptism!

 Monday Jan 24, 2022

This week has been super busy. Transfers are tomorrow and so we've been busy preparing for that. We also had Ethan's baptism this week! It was amazing. I had a great spiritual experience during that. I had 3 very distinct confirmations to my testimony. First, was when a sister was giving a talk on baptism and she started talking about the premortal life and was testifying to Ethan about how he once new God before the world was. I felt a large sense of comfort and peace confirming to me that that fact is truth. Second, was when a sister was singing a hymn and she has a beautiful voice. In the song it talks about how Christ rescues us from danger, and once again I had a spiritual witness that Jesus is here to help us and strengthen us and to save us. He is real and the power of his Atonement is accessible to all who desire it. Third, was that baptism is an essential ordinance in the gospel. Jesus Christ said we must be baptized to be saved. There is no other way. It is impossible to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven without being clean, and this is what baptism allows us to have and by partaking of the sacrament renews that covenant weekly. How great and merciful this gospel plan is! There is nothing greater than living the Doctrine of Christ and feeling of this joy and true happiness. It is the only way. Have a great week everyone!
