Bible Set up!

Hello everyone! This will be a short email because I don't have much time today. 

This week has been good. Nothing much has changed. We are still doing a ton of member work and trying to get referrals. We have one investigator and her name is Sue. I have met her once because she has had Covid for the last 2 weeks. She's really nice, but I hope she's actually interested. We work with some inactive people and that's about it. There's nothing crazy about what we're doing, just waiting for the miracles to come in!
Yesterday we went by a lady named Patty and I guess the missionaries have been going over for a while, but she only believes in the Bible so it's basically pointless. Anyways we get there and she was super excited to see us. She invited us in and sits us down and brings out WORKSHEETS. Literal bible worksheets with scriptures and questions and everything. We sat down for like and hour and a half and talked about a bunch of stuff. Me and my companion snuck in some Book of Mormon scriptures as well and its weird because she agrees 100% with what the scriptures say but I guess she doesn't think the Book of Mormon to be scripture. I don't know it's basically pointless to talk with her but I thought it was funny that she had worksheets prepared for us.

 Monday October 12, 2020 Hello everyone! How's it goin? Everything here in Mesa is going well. This week went by really quick and I can't remember everything that happened. I'll start off with our "amigos". I'm pretty sure I've already told you guys about Martha and how we have her on date for baptism. Basically she is still going strong and we don't need to do much with her other than just meet with her every other day to keep her on track. We just go over a few simple things every now and then. Then with Gerardo he is still iffy. He still hasn't accepted baptism, but he's getting closer. We're teaching him the commandments to let him know what exactly he needs to keep and also we're bringing members from our branch to make friends with him so that he is more comfortable.  Monday January 18, 2021 Hello everyone!! I hope your week is going great! My week has been fabulous. The Vargas family that randomly came to Church last week are doing great! We had 2 lessons with them this week and they are so eager to learn! They read the Book of Mormon a lot and are so prepared. They have a few Word of Wisdom problems but I don't think they will have any trouble with that. They also have told us that they are planning on getting married, but they want it to be a memorable event so they want to plan well. They are so ready to partake in this gospel and it's actually crazy. They basically are members already. They are the nicest and most sincere people you will ever meet.  Another miracle happened this week!! Another non member just walked into Church!! It's actually crazy the miracles and blessings God is giving us here. So yesterday we had dinner with a family, and the non member that walked into church was there!!
