Christmas and a baptism!!
Monday December 28, 2020
What's up everyone! I hope you all had a great Christmas! It's pretty much the best time of the year because most people are pretty jolly. I'll give you a rundown of what our Christmas day looked like. So basically our President told us not to bother anyone on Christmas so they can have their family time. Unless we had something pre-scheduled then we could go. In the morning we went to a members house and had breakfast and opened a ton of gifts. All of the gifts she got us was food so that was much appreciated haha. Then after her house, we pretty much had nothing. We had dinner at 2 and came home at like 3 ish and then the day was basically just chill. We had 3 movies that were approved to watch and so we watched those with the other Elders in our house.
The best thing we did on Christmas was that I made some mega brownie thing. One of the members gave us a recipe to make so we did. It was in a 9x13 pan that we put cookie dough at the bottom, then we put Reese's peanut butter cups on top, then we put brownie mix on the top of all of it. Put it in the oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Then we ate it with ice cream. It was super good, but one slice basically killed you haha. I'll send some pictures in the email so you can see it.
On Saturday we had a baptism for Sarah!! She finally was ready to commit and make that change in her life! She was super excited leading up to it. It was a great baptism, but it was funny because we were filling up the font and it got to like the third step and we were like "that looks like a lot of water". So we stopped filling it up and once it got to the baptism it only went up to their knees hahahah. So that was pretty funny. It still worked but oh well.
Nothing else much happened this week. Have a great New Years! I'll talk to ya next week!
Pics: oh also we went caroling so there's a pic in there of that as well.
